Favicon Manager
Favicon Manager helps your weblog to have an shortcut icon aka Favicon.
what you to do is just set an URL address or movabletype's asset id of image file that you want to show on your client's browser.
additionary, you can set favicon to your movabletype admins.

this plugin can move only on MT4.
installing
extract an archive file and upload plugins/FaviconManager/ directory to your movabletype's plugins directory.
configuration
setting up favicon to each blog
- select the blog to set up from blog selector
- click Preferences > Plugins and go plugins configuration page
- look for FaviconManager and open it's settings tab
- enter your favicon's URL or Asset ID to blog favicon url
- save, and rebuild if your blog pages were published in non-dynamic mode
setting up favicon to movabletype admin pages
almost steps are same to setting up to blog. difference is just that you must select "System Overview" in blog selector before you go plugin setting pages.
asset ID
you can set your favicon image file way both URL and Asset ID. if you upload your image file to your server via movabletype, and if you know that image's asset ID, just enter the ID like this;
